Two years ago in pursuit of my dream of being a book designer, I left Vancouver for
Hong Kong and started my career with Haven Books, a small independent publisher
of English books, where I took on challenges beyond that of a book designer’s. There,
I was entrusted with project management, quality control, mentoring interns, and also facilitating administrative tasks.

There seem to be more to offer other than designing books, and with a curiosity in
China’s history and culture, I am now over at Shanghai looking to be involved in projects that makes an substantial impact on the design scene both locally and globally.
